Robot Components
Robots have four basic building blocks.
- Actuators:, also known as drives, are mechanisms for getting robots to move, which include motors, selenoids etc.
- Sensors gives feedback to the robot about its surrounding and also position of its different parts.
- Effectors: This include arms, wheels, fins, wings, etc. Effector is any moveable part that help robot to move and physically interact (pickup, grab, drop, move objects) with the environment
- Controller: This is the brain of the robot and controls any moveable part.
